Our Beers

As we always say about hops and malts, “It’s about striking a balance.” That, plus hand craftsmanship and patience, is why Wellington continues to raise the bar for brewing.

Our president and Brewmaster Mike Stirrup has been with the brewery since day one, learning his craft both in Canada and England. Mike’s passion, and that of our whole brewing family, is reflected in all of our fine ales and lagers.

We insist on things like 100% Canadian grown two-row barley malt, English hops, a continually cultured strain of yeast and Arkell Springs water. Since our brewery opened in 1985, we’ve even insisted that our fine English Ales have to be brewed using English brewing equipment. Ours was built by Hickley of London specifically for Wellington Brewery.
