Toronto’s Festival of Beer – Aug. 5-8th

tobeerfest

It’s time again for Toronto’s Festival of Beer. This is the event that pairs beer lovers and beer connoisseurs with good times. Fans of the golden beverage will gather this August 5th to 8th for an astounding selection of beer and gourmet fare. Bandshell Park at Exhibition Place will house Canada’s biggest and most infamous beer festival – Toronto’s Festival of Beer, celebrating their 16th year – featuring local, national and international beers.

Attendees will be able to sample brews from diverse locales spanning from Europe to Asia. They will also be able to find numerous beers from close to home, including a number of brands from the Ontario Craft Brewers. This year’s Festival will feature the “Local”, an area which will highlight the many delicious beers brewed in our own backyard. Many brewmasters will be onsite as well, giving patrons the opportunity to interact with the people behind their favourite brands.

While the main focus of the Festival will be beer, the acts scheduled to perform are not to be missed. The Main Stage will be graced with outstanding musical talent such as Squeeze, Kardinal Offishall, Skydiggers and Little Feat.

Ideally located in downtown Toronto along the scenic shore of Lake Ontario, Bandshell Park at Exhibition Place provides convenient access to TTC and GO Transit links. Increased access to public transit allows the Festival to further support their message to brewers and consumers alike; Respect Beer. Respect Yourself. Drink Responsibly.

Tickets for the Festival can be purchased online at www.beerfestival.ca Thursday, August 5th tickets for the bet365.net Beer Garden Gala are $47.60, while August 6th and 8th are $38.50 each.
