Toronto Territory Sales Representative
Full-Time. Salary.
Wellington Brewery- Guelph, ON

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic person, who is passionate about beer and the craft beer community and eager to promote Wellington products in the Toronto West area.  The right candidate will be a self-starter, reliable, trustworthy and have strong ties within the community of Toronto West and surrounding areas. The person will be responsible for creating and sustaining new sales, establishing and expanding relationships with the LCBO, TBS and Grocery locations in their territory while promoting channel programs with a focus on long-term core brand sales and many seasonals throughout the year. 


  • Focus on driving and maintaining sales growth and brand awareness in our retail channels 
  • Build outstanding relationships with existing retail channels and negotiate product placement at retail store level
  • Retail store visits to solicit store listings in our retail channels 
  • Maintain and track store listings and review dig this data daily to ensure that all stores are profitably serviced
  • Meet weekly and monthly sales and performance targets 
  • Follow a daily route planner and communicate internally specific store needs to generate sales
  • Continually update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities to maintain expert beer knowledge


Skills crucial to success in this role: 

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the craft beer industry
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an ability to manage self by working independently as well as in a team environment 
  • An outgoing, positive, hard working, can- do attitude is a must 
  • Must have a strong interest in the craft beer industry, knowledge of beer and  beer products
  • Strong ties and a good understanding of the local craft brewing industry in Toronto
  • Must have a clean and valid G class license

Full-Time - 40 hours per week - Mornings
Wellington Brewery- Guelph, ON

About the Job:

● Regularly perform vessel and tank CIP to exacting quality standards, deep cleaning, beer clarification, carbonation, transfer, blending, dry-hopping, etc.
● Operating the centrifuge and in line carbonator to filter and carbonate the beer to quality specifications
● Ensure finished beer meets the agreed quality standards up to packaging day
● Perform, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team, daily beer quality checks
● Follow Wellington’s SOPs and support continuous improvement by recommending periodic updates
● Cleaning and sanitizing the centrifuge and bright tanks while following standard operating procedures
● Cellar cleaning, perform scheduled cleaning of the cellaring area up to and including the bright beer tanks, floors, pipeworks, exterior of tanks and parts cleaning

Skills crucial to success in this role:

● Minimum 6 months to one year of experience in a beer cellar role or in the food and beverage industry
● Be reliable and have a positive attitude
● Able to produce continuous quality work in a hot, humid, noisy and fast-paced environment
● Able to work at heights
● Ability to perform repetitive tasks including routine pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching using wrists, hands, shoulders and/or fingers.
● Physically fit as the majority of work involves standing for long periods of time, and cleaning that involves frequent bending and squatting
● Able to lift up to 100 pounds at least six inches off floor on a regular basis
● Experience working in a production brewery is an asset.
● Passion for the craft beer industry is a must
