Sadako - American Pale Ale with Cranberries
Sadako is a dry-hopped American style pale ale brewed with cranberries which add a tart finish to this enticing and well-balanced pale ale.
It has been said that the cranberry got its name because its flower resembles the neck, head and bill of a crane. We are inspired by the story of Sadako, a young girl who suffered the horrific bombing of Hiroshima and was later diagnosed with leukaemia. Sadako folded 1000 paper cranes on her mission to be granted just one wish – the end of war and suffering. Sadly, Sadako did not survive her diagnosis, but her strength and courage inspired her country; the crane and her story have become international symbols peace. "I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world.” -Sadako Sasaki
