Covid-19 Update: Find Our Beer

March 24, 2020

Last Updated: 9:00PM Tuesday March 24th, 2020

We hope that you are keeping safe and healthy during these challenging times. Over the past few weeks we’ve seen a huge amount of support for our brewery, so we’d like to say thanks to everyone who has gone out of their way to help support independent local businesses like ours, it means a lot right now.

At the moment, our brewery will remain in operation with some important changes to how we sell and make our beer available. We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we take extra measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and everyone in our community. Here’s how you can find our beer right now:

LCBO / Beer Store / Grocery Stores

For the time being, LCBO, Beer Store, and Grocery store locations across Ontario will remain open with modified hours. Check their websites for the most up to date information including safety precautions that each retail outlet will be undertaking. All of our regularly available products will continue to be stocked where possible.

Free Local / Regional Delivery

We will be offering free home delivery in our local region on orders of $75 or more from our online store. We will be offering this free delivery to your doorstep for people in Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Elora, and Fergus. Use the code “LOCALSONLY” at checkout and we will follow up to confirm the expected delivery date and time. We are not guaranteeing a specific timeframe but most orders should be delivered within 1-2 days from the time of order.

Welly Walk-up Window

In order to minimize contact and maintain social distance, we are offering an option to pre-order beer online and pick up from our Welly Walk-up Window. We will no longer be allowing any customers to come into our building but our staff will be able to provide your order through our walk-up window. This will replace our “Curbside Pickup” option moving forward. Please note, you will need to be prepared to show ID for proof of age and to confirm your order. We ask that staff and guests feeling symptoms of the flu or respiratory problems to please stay home and not come to our brewery. Our Welly Walk-up Window will be open 11am-6pm every day except Tuesday. Please call the brewery at (800) 576-3853 x100 if you have any questions about how this works.

Online Orders (Anywhere in Ontario)

For online orders we will continue to ship via Canada Post although we are no longer offering free delivery over $75, so regular shipping rates will apply. At the moment, Canada Post is not delivering packages to residential addresses which require a signature (including all beer), so you will need to pick your order up at your local post office location.

We will continue to adapt and update these plans as the Covid-19 situation continues to change and evolve, so please check back. Thanks again for your patience and understanding with us as we work together through this challenging time.  Please take care of yourselves and thanks for supporting local Ontario craft beer. Cheers!

Below is a previous update about our tap room closure:

Last Updated: 4:00PM Friday March 20th, 2020

We are also taking a number of additional measures to ensure a healthy environment at our brewery:

  • We have made hand sanitizer available in our store and tap room for both our staff and visitors. All visitors will be asked to sanitize their hands upon entrance, and we encourage everyone to keep their hands clean throughout their visit
  • When visiting, please remember to practice social distancing and keep a 2-meter (6 feet) space between you and others.
  • We are suspending our growler program and will not be filling growlers until further notice.
  • We will be stepping up our sanitation and cleaning standards with special attention to high-traffic areas and high-touch surfaces.
  • We ask that staff and guests feeling symptoms of the flu or respiratory problems to please stay home and take precautions.

We will continue to monitor developments from Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health who have resources and information available online. We will also be closely monitoring communications from our local, provincial, and federal government to ensure we are taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of everyone in our community.

As a company, we have also taken additional measures to protect the safety of our staff by employees to work from home where possible. This situation continues to change daily and we will keep our customers updated as the situation evolves.

Thank you for your understanding, please take care.
