George got his start in the 1990's at Upper Canada Brewing and went onto work at other notable Ontario craft breweries such as Muskoka Brewery and Cool Brewing. Most recently, George has been the brewmaster of StoneHammer Brewing in Guelph for the last 9 years. 

Wellington brewmaster Marvin Dyck is excited to welcome George to the team, saying "you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone more passionate about craft beer". As longtime friends and collaborators Marvin and George will work together to develop recipes for the Welly One-Off and Welly Re-Booted small-batch beer programs at the brewery.
