Private Group Tasting & Tour 

Enjoy a private tasting and tour led by one of our knowledgeable beer experts. You’ll have the chance to sample our award-winning lineup of year-round beers or discover your new favourite from a rotating selection of unique seasonal and small-batch beers. This two hour private tasting includes a guided tour of our brewery where you can learn all about what goes into making our beer. 

Private group tastings are two hour bookings (after 7:30pm daily) with a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 50 people. The cost is $25 per person (including tax) which includes 4 x 4oz beer samples, additional samples or pints can be purchased at an additional cost. 

How it works:

  • There is a $75 non-refundable deposit to secure your date, which will come off of your bill the evening of the event.
  • Any food brought in from external sources must come from a commercial inspected kitchen and must be cleared with our Tap Room Manager in advance. 
  • Our Covid-19 Protocols MUST be adhered to at ALL times

Full Evening Rental

Looking for the perfect space to host a birthday party, fundraiser, staff event, or even a wedding? The Wellington Brewery Tap Room is an inviting and comfortable space that features 16 taps of our award-winning beer plus a full service bar with a selection of cider, wine, and spirits also available

The Tap Room has a capacity of 65 which can comfortably accommodate up to 45 people for seated events. We also have a Special Event Food menu that is available upon request, featuring foods we offer in our Tap Room. The unique event space has everything you need to host your event.

Tap Room rental Includes:

  • Large screen television (64in) with HDMI connection
  • Bluetooth Stereo System with speakers throughout the room
  • Free WiFi
  • Cleaning of room after event included (you are required to clear out anything you have brought in for the event)
  • Extra chairs and tables upon request

How it works:

  • Rental hours available: 7:30pm-1:30am daily. Last call at 1am if booking until 1:30am.
  • Capacity: Minimum 10 people for full evening rental. 45 comfortably seated, 65 capacity (standing) in the Tap Room.
  • Cost: $115 (including HST) per hour which includes the room rental fee plus 2 Serving Staff for the evening. The bar is a cash bar. Bills can be run on one tab or paid by guests separately. Option to pre-purchase tokens is available.
  • Deposit: There is a $75 non-refundable deposit for tap room event bookings, that will be taken from your bill total the evening of your event. *The deposit must be paid in advance to secure your date*
  • No need for a special occasion permit to book our space - we have a liquor license.
  • Complimentary brewery tours (must be arranged in advance)
  • Non-alcoholic beverages are available as is our regular tap list 
  • Special Event Food menus available upon request
  • Free parking (cars may be left overnight if necessary - please discuss with Tarah Walsh)

Covid-19 Protocols:

  • All attendees MUST be fully vaccinated, have valid photo identification & have proof of vaccination to enter our Tap Room
  • Wristbands will be provided to all guests who have completed the QR code/ check in and provided proof of vaccination and photo identification to our staff. Re-entry will not be permitted without a wristband 
  • Dancing is not currently allowed as part of private event rentals due to current Covid-19 restrictions. 
  • It is the person booking the private event/ hosts responsibility to ensure that all attendees are fully vaccinated and are aware of our rules of entry 
  • Masks must be worn at all times, unless you are eating or drinking
